Twirpin! (The Woman Is Required to Pay)

Hello, all you wonderful people! I have been quite negligent about writing, but there has been so so many things going on. This is going to be a special post however, due to me catching y'all up on the best week this semester!  Not only was Valentine's Day and My birthday all in one week, but....this weekend before that week , my good friend Hannah and I, got to take our good friends Tadd and Landon on a group date for an event at our school called TWIRP, which stands for , the woman is required to pay. Now our date was centered on the boy's and Hannah's undying love for the all-American sport of baseball. Hannah and I had quite the creative streak while we were coming up with this date! As you will soon see!
So, to start off with i will show you how we asked them.

The boys got to open their boxes on home plate, and they both love their brand new shirts repping their fav teams! And now, they have "season tickets" to dates with us ;) jk!!

Thats right y'all, we asked them on home plate of the school's baseball field! :)

1. It's the top of the first, let's kick off our date. Pick out your song, as you step up to the plate : the car trip from our school's town to nearby Springfield jamming to some of their favorite songs, including their walkup songs :)

2.Vsiting greats from the past, we'll be sure to have a blast. It's all part of the game, Let's visit the Sports Hall of Fame.
We went to a Sports Hall of Fame Museum that had lots of interactive games the boys enjoyed, such as football, basketball, race car driving, and baseball announcing!

Mine and Tadd's shirts had our last names and his lucky number.

Landon was a Card for a day!

3.Hey batter, batter! Hey batter, batter, swing. For you it's second nature, for us its a new thing!
We practiced our swing at some batting cages, since both the boys play baseball for the school, we were just helping with their batting average! :)

4th - Find out who will win the "TWIRP Date Ring" by showing off your best swing.
mini golf! :) It was SOOOO cold!! And really Tadd and I won, but Tadd was a good sport and let Landon win.
 5. It's the middle of the game, let's go have dinner. We'll come back later and see who's the winner! Dinner was at the Grotto, a cool little place that served all sorts of dishes, and since I was pescaterian when we went, they were a good choice since they had lots of vegetarian dishes to choose from!
 - Sorry no picture of the food, the boys were too hungry! haha

6t.No time for a break, let's go have a cupcake.  Dessert was at The Cup, a cupcake place downtown that is superb!

7th - It's the seventh inning stretch, get up on your feet, continue the game, as we walk through the street.
The Seventh Innning stretch is a tradition in every game, and walking around downtown did the trick!

8th- Let's go create our Miis and see who wins at baseball Wii.
We played Mario Kart instead and us girls finally beat the boys at something!! ;)

9th -  Let's end with a "W" and celebrate. And watch a movie to conclude our TWIRP date.
Finished off the night watching Moneyball with our own personal concession stand, stocked with all the traditional baseball snacks!

I know, I know, at the end the clues got a bit cheesy, but give us a break, we did our very best, and we'd already used our creative juices figuring out the activities. Overall, it was truly a fun date and the boys were complete gentlemen throughout the whole thing, and even attempted to pay a few times, we enjoyed every minute and loved their company! :)

I promise I will continue to post more regularly, I really need to work on time management, any one else?
Have a good week if I dont get a chance to get back on!
